Module 5 – Imperfect Action Challenge
Welcome back to the fifth Section of the Imperfect Action Challenge!
We’re so excited that you made it this far! We need to get a screenshot of your progress and post it on the Imperfect Action Challenge Facebook group. You should have done it already, but don’t worry we’ll help out with an easy guide if not.
This module is a guided walkthrough on how best to create your affiliate programs and get ready to advertise your product through affiliates. This includes setting up a membership page in GrooveMember™ so that you can invite affiliates instantly to start promoting your new product for you. Additionally, David discusses a few more free tips and tricks to market your goods and drive traffic to your website.
For those who don’t know what affiliates are, they are marketers who promote your goods for a commission percentage of the resulting sales.
In Module 1 and 2, we covered the design and funnel design, which we then put up in Module 3, after buying a custom domain. In the previous one, Module 4, we then set up your merchandise fulfillment.
GroovePages™, GrooveSell™, GrooveMember™, and GrooveMail™ are all free-to-use programs that can be seen in your Groove dashboard, giving you every reason to get it done!
Great to know stuff before we begin:
- No platinum account needed
- No product needed
- No prior knowledge necessary
- No creatives needed
- No pre-written copy needed
- No (money) investment required
Module #5 Recap: Affiliates and Traffic
If you want to view the entire video with clickable chapters and show notes, see the replay here.
1. Create your affiliate portal and welcome/affiliate webpage
With this step, you can make use of the assets in your downloaded PLR product. In the last module, we went over how to create a membership for product fulfillment. Now, browse to GrooveMember™ and select the membership that you created by opening the Builder.
- Add a Video Element into the page builder
- Insert your welcome movie
- a. Vimeo, YouTube, GrooveVideo
- Add a Code Embed Element beneath the movie (for promo tools)
Now, you’ll need to open a new tab and browse to GrooveSell™, where you set up your product funnel in Module 3.
- Select Product Funnels — Affiliate Portals and Tools
- Click the Dropdown and pick the appropriate product funnel
There’ll be default promo tools easily available for you to use.
If your PLR product includes affiliate tools, you can alter these default tools (suggested) or make new ones.
- Prepare your resources
- Upload them into the promo area
- Add images
- Repeat this procedure for all assets that you’d like to include
After uploading the affiliate programs into the promo area, you can go back to the funnel promo tools list in GrooveSell™ and copy the embed code (second icon from the left).
Explaining the Welcome Video
The movie placeholder at the page builder is in fact an important video to watch! Groove CEO and Co-founder, Mike Filsaime explains butterfly marketing and what to do to your affiliate page.
As arguably the most important CTA on your page, you must record a compelling video and follow your sales script. For the time being, you don’t need to produce a high-value production with the best of the best — just do what you can with what you’ve got, even if it’s your smartphone!
2. Setting up automation for higher affiliate commission bumps
At the tier membership, they will get the normal commission (as an example, 20%). Should they then update, they will receive a higher commission when they promote your product (for example, 40 percent ).
To be able to provide them a higher commission bump when they market the product, you need to create automation in GrooveMail™ that will enable them to buy the higher-tier membership.
- Open GrooveMail™ from the Groove dash
- Select Automations — New Automation
- Insert a name and select the trigger
- Select Insert as an affiliate — Custom commission tier
We covered this in Module 4, but whenever you see a play button, that means your automation is not active. Click the play button to begin your automation. Repeat this procedure for free and paid members.
- Create a button on your GrooveMember™ webpage
- Navigate to your affiliate tools in GrooveSell™
- a. Affiliate Dashboard — Preferences — Payment
- b. Copy the link
- Return to the button onto your GrooveMember™ page
- Paste the URL Hyperlink
3. Assessing Traffic Methods
Organic reach
One of the easiest and fastest ways to drive organic traffic to your site is by running a competition. Contests have the capability to go VIRAL!
You may use either Facebook or Instagram, as you should already have a company account on one of these, and you may create the post/contest picture using Canva.
Of course, you want your image to catch attention so that social media users will stop scrolling and see exactly what your competition is all about!
Create your post! It’s your responsibility to set the contest rules, which you have to clearly explicate in your caption. This usually involves liking the post, sharing the article, and tagging a certain number of friends in the remarks. Clever, right?
Charismatic
Groove members, both free and paid, have free access to Chatmatic! In case you missed the announcement and training videos, Chatmatic is a chatbot program that simplifies your selling through Facebook Messenger.
